It doesn't go without saying. You can either sate something as a fact which is what you were doing, or you can state it as an opinion which is what you were not doing. I would have thought a man with your literary avatar would know the difference.
****ing hell some people like slagging off players for so little. It's like they did something wrong like **** your gf the way some keep on.
Lets not go into personalities guys, lets stick to the FOOTBALLING points shall we anything being written on here is an opinion unless supported by facts. We all make spelling mistakes I really do not see the need to have them pointed out. So lets stick to our opinions about football and not each other please.
It does. Of course it's not fact, how could what I posted ever be quantified as fact? I never stated it as fact, that's purely the way you interpreted my perhaps overly-zealous writing style on that occasion. I'm not about to go around saying "in my opinion" before every post. I'd rather say "this is fact" in the very few amount of posts of mine that are actually intended to be read as fact.
Well said. This may have been mentioned above but Lambert looked to be limping badly towards the end. Anyone heard if he's injured?
Apologies for my part in that Beddy. I don't get riled terribly easily, but I cannot bear being condescended too. My lid is back on now
It is very important that we correct your spelling. You wouldn't want us to think that you are illiterate and unable to explain yourself would you.
There is no need at all to correct spelling or grammar come to that.........the only reason I can see you would do that is to annoy.....As long as we can make out the gist of what is being offered that is. So lets not go down that particular path......I do get your what you are getting at though!!
I hear lots of stories from my friend who works in one of the nightclubs that Saints players visit regularly on Sundays.
I followed this course of action a few months ago. If you say anything bad about Ramirez, my God are there some protective posters that tell you how you know nothing about football. ....And Lff you are right no matter what the stats say. He passed too short more than once. Stats will probably say he didn't though Would say he did seem better than he was last season though when he was doing this with nearly every pass (because the other players weren't good enough????) And yes I thought Lallana played well. average first half, was all over the place second. should have had a penalty first half and was trying to create chances in what was a Sunderland 10 man defence (after Sunderland fans had told us how they were coming to play pretty football.) Sunderland reminded me of West Ham TBH Right I'm 'awf to find my tin hat. Rep still green
It certainly has kicked off a little bit and this was from a game we dominated. I will continue my abstinence from these match threads when we lose for fear of dropping into clinical depression. James Ward-Prowse won the twitter MOTM award and well deserved
This is nothing. At least the majority of people understand we were mostly good but unlucky, and only a couple appear to have malfunctioning eyes/brains. I'm expecting to see far moodier match threads than this one this season.
I disagree with you old chap. There are many young lads on these threads who are doing GCSEs and A levels and some are now going onto higher education where poor grammar, spelling or punctuation could lose them marks. We should be doing all we can to ensure that they don't fall into bad habits. By ignoring any poor use of English we put at risk the future success of these young men. PS Before you know it their mathematics could end up slipshod as well and that would be an absolute disgrace.
