So you're projecting your own personality onto a person you don't know. Brilliant. You also think that JWP doesn't have the requisite talent to be a success at Saints, so you'll excuse me if I take your opinion with a massive dollup of salt......
Just wanted to say that anyone thinking Ramirez was awful really, really needs to spend some time trying to learn a bit more about the attacking side of the game nowadays. It beggars belief that anyone could think his performance yesterday was "awful". Deary ****ing me.
Mate it would be better if you could understand what is written initially so i dont have to clarify a simple point.
Sorry oh wise one, I apologise for my clear lack of intellect in comparison. Perhaps you could tell us if Cork cares more about Chelsea or Southampton with your towering levels of insight that we mere mortals can't possibly comprehend?
I know what you are trying to say but they do all try their best to perform for the club and the team.
That's alright mate you are doing your very best for the forum which is all i can ask. And yes i have spoken to cork personaly and he prefered playing in the premier league week in week out New Era, that is more or less true of most players
My point about VM was merely from certain points I noticed during the game. I fully expect him to progress into an important part of the team, however at times he looked slow to react. A main point was where J Rod was tackled on half way and they countered. I watched VM and he didn't even jog to follow him, actually watched him go past as if he thought it would be dealt with. I'm the end J Rod busted a gut to redeem himself but I wondered why he wouldn't show more urgency. He drops the shoulder often and spreads the play, but Morgan so far has been less influential without cork. By no means do I write him off but I'd expect him to improve in certain aspects. I also believe Ramirez looked the best he's looked for a fair few games.
Wise one - I've reread your posts and have reached the same conclusion, that you're talking utter rubbish and your logic, what there is of it, is purely based on flawed presumption and your own personality weaknesses. I'll keep it simple, but have you never been in a workplace where the new employees are hugely motivated, thinking to themselves "wow, this is better than I expected, I love it here" - thus making them care a great deal about their workplace. In the other corner are a group of cynical types, who've been at the same place for some time, feeling a little weary of it and therefore don't care as much as the new guys? You see? Surely someone as clever as you can spot the flaw in your presumption?
You shouldn't dislike those posts New Era - if somebody is going to throw a superiority complex out there, they'd better as hell be able to back it up.....
There's no point correcting spelling. That's the only reason I disliked them. I think the problem here is he isn't getting his point across well. I think what he really means is the new players probably don't care as much about the club rather than don't care at all. I don't think Van Ginkel, Schurrle and Willian would care as much about Chelsea as players like Lampard, Terry and Cole! If he does really mean they don't care at all then he is obviously talking nonsense.
My perception was that he gave the ball away on 2 or 3 occasions, although according to someone on here it was only once. I felt that he looked lethargic and uninterested (compared to Lallana anyway who was really buzzing at the point he was taken off). I can remember a few attempted dribbles but no end result. I really thought he looked far and away our worst player. I'm willing to be proved worn by the stats. One's perception counts for so much (right or wrong). For example I thought Lallana had a great game and I've seen other people say similar, but I've also seen people say he didn't play well. So, is there a factual response? Did he or didn't he? Changing the subject a bit as Ramirez does seem to dominate yet again. What do you think about Wanyama? On the face of it he was immense, again. But did any of his passes actually lead to a chance. I can't recall.
Ramirez was ok. Think you are being harsh. I thought they were all ok or better other than Lambert who I was disappointed with. Wanyama role was just starting the attacks he wasn't try to create chances directly.
I assume you mean to preface that with, "In my opinion...."! As I said above unless someone can demonstrate statistically how anyone played then it can only be a matter of opinion. Mine just doesn't happen to agree with yours. And please don't use that old cliche that I can't know anything about the game, that is so overused and actually untrue in my case. I am an FA qualified coach and have coached in this country and in America. I know that doesn't necessarily prove anything but it might just stop you insulting me rather than putting in a proper argument. You'll be saying I'm no good at driving next or something equally insulting to my manhood! I'm not going to discuss Ramirez again this season. Full stop. Unless he starts playing well of course!!!
Yes, definitely not one of his better games but I am loath to criticise him because he is Lambert. How hypocritical am I !?
