Sunderland only brought 1800, if they had sold their allocation of 3100 it would have been practically a sell-out. Nothing embarrassing about that whatsoever.

Yeah it's obvious that a white, English player would care about the club more than a black, foreign player does...<doh>

WHAT A LOAD OF OLD BOLLOX!....<grr>

It would be silly to expect wanyama to care much about southampton where he has been for about 8 weeks
Compared to cork who has seen his career blossom into that of a talented premier league midfielder.

Didn't want to say that, but it has crossed my mind. The only players that I have ever heard called lazy are Puncheon, Guly and now Wanyama.

He is a professional footballer, of course he cares about doing the best he can for the club that he is employed by.

Having respect for your employers money and caring about the club are two very different things.

I wish we'd sign lower league players and Premier League academy rejects again who cared who really cared about the club because it was the pinnacle of their career or gave them a break.

    Oh, no I wouldn't. I like ambition.

But, I was replying to the post that suggested that Wanyama doesn't try as hard as Cork does because he doesn't care about the club as much...that is just naive rubbish...

I would imagine if you cared about the club you would be more motivated. Who knows how much anyone cares about the club, you can get a fair idea by the way they celebrate a goal, win and by how much effort they put in. Wanyama hasnt lacked effort but like you say he is probably motivated by money and fame like every one.

I really don't understand your point. Cork probably cares more, but we can't really tell but I'm going to make assumptions on Wanyama anyway?

    Oh okay then.

This is sadly true from what I've read/heard as well.

Reread what i wrote and point out the contradiction. I think its fair to assume that cork carrs more, would be slightly more motivated and that wanyama cares less, would be slightly less motivated but is nonetheless highly motivated by the huge wage and fame of the premier league.

I cant put it much more simply, im not making much of a point other than it isnt racist to assume wanyama doesnt care about the club and that cork does

Are you blind? I'm genuinely asking here, because I wouldn't want to insult a blind person.

Utter, utter, utter rubbish. You haven't the first idea who "cares" more about the club.

Look, unless you're the most spectacular berk who's never, ever seen a game of football before, you'll have seen that Wanyama yesterday was the pivot around which the rest of the midfield was ALLOWED to rotate. There's no way that JWP would have got man of the match without Victor behind him mopping up and providing the base in front of the defence. He held the ship tight.

Saying he's lazy or doesn't care is so spectacularly stupid that I'd suggest help may be required.
