Are there any gamblers out there? Ive seen a few posts with people discussing bets so sure some of you are out there. I normally have an accumulator on at the weekend normally 8 or 9 games for £2 - £5. Woke up this morning and decided I would put £100 on spurs city and Barcelona. Was expecting less than evens but got not far off 2/1. Im now ****ting myself and have no idea how I will feel when the games kick off. I can afford to lose the money but still feel like ive been a bit of a dick. Anyone else got any crazy bets on today? And good luck if you have
I have a massive gambling problem. However, not had a bet for over a month now. Nevertheless, your post did interest me as your wager seems to have caused you a lot of unnecessary stress. Good luck with it though.
I never touch a bet with such small odds as that, other than singles. That said, it SHOULD win, but Spurs are notorious for struggling at home, and Swansea are a very good side. Probably not helping your stress levels..
Sorry to hear that pal. Good luck with your fight though and you should probably avoid this thread for temptation etc. When I say stress its more of an adrenaline thing and as I say if I lose I lose but would be nice to win obviously.
Thanks for your analysis pal. Ive never touched anything less than about 50 to one hence I very very rarely win. Ive got a couple of weeks off work and would like to take the missus on a few days out or maybe a few days overnight stay in York. So the money if I win will be used for that. Like I say its not critical I win would just give me some spare cash to enjoy a couple of weeks. Not that bothered if I lose but obviously don't want to.
The way I bet, is £10 doubles and £5 trebles, look for 4/1 doubles and 8-12/1 trebles. You will win more than you lose, and seeing £40 returns several times a week is decent.
I went through a phase of backing 4 draws per weekend. Usually got around 60/1 always got 2 or 3 but never got all 4 which got quite frustrating. I know people who put 10 or 20p on first goalscorers and correct reults but dont really see the point as they never win more than a couple of quid back.

Obviously it's always nice to win money but I got a genuine buzz before, during and after each bet win, lose or draw. Decided to give it up and did at the drop of a hat.
