Graham hasn't suddenly become a bad player, he just looks completely shot of confidence. I suspect the Sunderland experience has left him bereft of self belief and just needs a goal or two to get his head up again. It'll be interesting to see how he does with some decent service in the next few games whilst Sagbo is suspended!

Problem is we have no loan space unless we sign 1 of the current loanees, plus is it really fair on Graham? Or even Sagbo?
Last week there were a lot of people saying Sagbo was a monster, now one mistake & that's it? Graham had a tough game against Chelski & will more than likely have a tough game against Man City, only a bit of time to get in the game today, I don't think it's time to give up just yet, if we add to the strikers, do we replace or add, will it be better than what we have?

Keep forgetting that we only get two loan spots.

We should get round the loan spot issue by signing Livermore.

    For £3.5m, I'd say yes.

Looking at Spurs' squad, when is he going to get a consistent run in the team? Here, he's one of the first names on the team sheet.

Brady has pace, a terrific shot with either foot, has the speed and skill to get behind defenses, and was viewed by Sir Alex as a striker. Putting him up front with Aluko would give us two excellent strikers. How many goals did Aluko score at Rangers and with us last season before he was injured. Boyd and Dudgeon can both play in Brady's spot on LW.

Graham is too slow and immobile to frighten Prem defenses in our set up. Swansea had the speed in midfield to get him open. Sunderland and ourselves do not. I think the striker we need is already on our books.

We apparently have a deal in place for £3.5m if we stay up.

I'd offer them £2m for a permanent now.

Agreed that he has the pace and finishing ability, but that would mean we would miss him out wide playing in the brilliant crosses that he can and stretching the opposition defence out wide.

The thing is Boyd has the touch just not the pace, from what I've seen, mainly highlights so not really sure, could he play on the left?

He could and did for Peterborough, but because he lacks pace the defender knows he won't burn them down the line and put a ball in so he is more predictable

Yes wasn't impressed with Graham when he came on. Should of got on to that pass from Boyd when they both broke away but didn't have the pace.

When asked by Gazza on MOTD if he'd like to bring in anymore players Brucey certainly suggested that he'd like to bring in another striker.

Well if we can't bring a loan forward in then you either spend a decent amount and for a 10 to 15 goal striker you are talking at least 5 million plus high wages or you chance another forward from abroad. I think sagbo is strong, Graham?. If you do bring someone in he as got to make a difference but could be costly but make the difference its up to the Allams and Bruce

Graham just looked lazy, there was a few times when the ball was a little bit out of his reach, so he just didn't bother moving for it.

It's weird quoting myself but I think this still is a major point.

Weirder still I'm quoting him now from another thread.

Maybe, if Sagbo has to serve a 3 match ban, we'll need somebody up front to compliment Graham (who I don't think is bad at all).

I'm not sure this one up front malarky is going to work. Our strikers are too isolated.

Tend to agree with you but SB seems to be determined to play 3 in midfield, the only way of getting back to 2 up front would seemingly go back to 3 at the back IMO.

That's a yes. Strikers win games, but blow hot and cold, so the more the merrier. All of our current strikers need game time before being judged; Sagbo was daft rather than poor. We played some good, intelligent football (Aluko awesome), but that bit of quality in finishing was missing. Despite my previous doubts, I would give Fryatt start, because when he is in the groove his finish is quality.
