A farce because Everton disclosed a private bid and then got their knickers in a twist. So what if the valuation was too low. Deal with it, negotiate. Don't start complaining about the rules which Utd haven't broken.
I used to like Roberto but with nonsense like criticising the transfer window which he himself used even when the season has started is two faced. Example: He signed for Wigan, Shaun Maloney on 31 August 2011 after the 2011-12 season had already begun. Short memory our Roberto.
Martinez hits back at Moyes: "If managers start talking about players who are registered at other clubs, that is the end of the whole thing"
"I could give u my views about how they have not been able to do any deals despite looking all over the world." Martinez on #MUFC f(u)ck off whinging Roberto, concentrate on keeping Fellaini if you can.
calls us the 'other' club - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
shouldn't you be on the arsenal board and preparing for your open top bus parade tomorrow after you beat Fulham.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez has told David Moyes to stop talking about Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini. #EFC #MUFC
Martinez has said: 'I think my comment is quite clear. If managers start talking about players who are registered at other clubs, that is the end of the whole thing. I think everyone should look after their own things internally. I am sure they have got many issues in the same manner and I could easily come out and give my opinions about these players but I will be more respectful than that. The business should be done quietly. It is really unfortunate when you read papers and people talk about your players.' Brilliant. It was Everton who disclosed the private bid, and not Utd. Also unfortunate when you read papers and people talk about your players, I wonder how Wigan felt this summer. What a prat.
This, we've said f(u)ck all about the bid, it was them who opened their mouths on monday saying they rejected a double bid from us for Fellaini and Baines, i agree with you on the wigan part, i bet Dave Whelan told him '' Roberto, take your pick''.
Come off it Swarbs you know fine well what he's been hoping to achieve here... Anyway, pleased I was wrong about Fellaini, they both played well to boot. I was told at the game that Baines was contacted by Moyes last weekend & he told him to hand in a transfer request - which he refused to do, saying that if there was to be a deal done, then it was up to the 2 clubs to sort & that he wouldn't engineer it.
"was told..." and you want us to believe it is fact? I was told by a guy that Rooney had been contacted by Maureen and told to put in a transfer request to United. Do I believe him?
I'm not asking you to believe anything lad, I'm passing on what I was told & it wasn't from some North Face wearing scally either.....
Fair enough. We won't believe then. What I am saying we just to be careful before accusing a guy of doing something rather "unethical". The player would burn his bridges and the club affected. I am sure Moyes still has a lot of affection for Everton and wouldn't want to do any damage to his ex-club.
