Why do people think you are, Matth? Is it an undeserved reputation you've earned? I ask in all seriousness, because I have been accused of being a wum, whereas those who know me well know full well that I am not. Okay, so I do like the odd bit of friendly banter, but I never set out to wind anyone up.* *When I say "never" what I mean is "not always."
yeah, i know how it feels, on topic, i hope Bale completes his move to Real Madrid before monday, don't want it to overshadow our game against Chelsea.
I think you should win that comfortably. RVP to get two. Possibly, Wellbeck to get a goal, too. That should wipe the silly smirk off The Happy Twat's face.
This, nothing will please me more than seeing the look on the arrogant twat's face, it'll make my season, he needs help from referees like the last time he played us.
It does seem to me that Madrid have overstepped the mark (or marca ) in this transfer. Though as they belong to a different football association they're more likely to get away with it. I think we shouldn't sell Bale at all, but certainly not for less than £100m, with £70m up front. So far ENIC are doing well in the window, but selling Bale will hurt a lot. If we are to sell Bale, let's get Vlad, a striker/goalscoring attacker and a back up keeper in.
Back on topic. I think Spurs have been extremely shrewd in this deal, I honestly think the deal had been done as soon as the window opened and part of deal was to keep everything silent, therefore you haven't been fleeced for the players you've bought in. If that is the case, that's clever, shrewd, and exactly how business should be done regarding transfers. So if I'm right - well done. Also, the Bale money has given you a chance to bring in some real quality. Even without Bale you're far superior this season, without question imho.
To be fair, that's what every Spurs fan I know or whom I have see commenting on fora such as this board, have all said exactly the same thing.
It really isn't - they're the neediest, greediest kid in the playgroup that has to have everything and wants everything NOW!!!
