Why was markleretc. banned? Seemed a good poster. Seems you really do need to be a hamelot to survive on here.
The speed trap is just after Eau Rouge. Actual top speeds are: 1. Sutil - 322.0 2. Alonso - 320.1 3. di Resta - 320.0 4. Button - 318.7 5. Hamilton - 317.0 6. Massa - 316.9 7. Rosberg - 316.6 8. Webber - 316.2 9. Chilton - 316.1 10. Vettel - 315.8 11. Perez - 315.4 12. Raikkonen - 314.0 http://184.106.145.74/f1-championship/f1-2013/f1-2013-11/Qualifying Session Maximum Speeds.pdf
Spa is nearly always the best race of the year for me, so I'm desperately hoping for some more rain, as many erroneous references to micro-climate by the commentators as possible, and Vettel slithering off into the woods with no points to his name from the weekend. Needs to happen for the championship, because the petty little gains by all his rivals aren't amounting to a decent challenge, because he just boringly finishes 2nd or 3rd to keep a gap.
If they dare spoil the race with safety cars because it's "too wet", they can sack the lot of those drivers and let me have a spin. Me and the Yaris just made light work of near monsoon outside!
Lol... maybe they should run the race with all the drivers in a Yaris if it's pissing it down. I'd pay to see that.
There is probably a Toyota yaris championship, probably the Japanese equivalent of the Renault Clio Cup.
Anyway, my shouts for tomorrow. If it's fully wet: P1: Hamilton P2: Di Resta P3: One of the Toro Rosso's (being so far back, they're likely to gamble on a full wet setup, and start from the pitlane) Changeable: P1: Hamilton P2: Alonso P3: Vettel Dry: P1: Vettel P2: Webber P3: Raikkonen
I missed qualifying (Arsenal match was on, had to prioritise), was Alonso quick when it was very wet?
Top in Q1 if I remember rightly, which was wet. I know it was only Q1, but seems to suggest they're set for wet weather.
Thanks Sarge. OK, quick revision, i still think LH will win a fully wet race, but i'll put Alonso as 2nd, with Dire Resta in 3rd.
