I was extremely happy about getting Bony to the team, so much that I almost smashed my wagering budget with a 2-1 odds that he would join. I did win some money, and I am delightfull to see him in a swan shirt, however I am not happy with his first competitive games. Why ? .. the guy has scored 4 goals? I always wanted someone upfront to link up with the midfielders which I find far more important than scoring goals, this may be a bit hard to conceive ... but its the way I feel. Shelvey is a joker in this regard, I was ambivalent at first and I still am, he is a trick in the sleeve you can pull but he is not the typical swan player. I do however feel optimistic about his presence, I think he may bring something we have misse I feel confident about .... Britton, he just oozes class ... even when in a bad situation Britton turns things around and makes the game his own. Players I have liked so far: Bony (apart from last game), Ben Davies (still makes a few too many mistakes), Michu (he is a beast, works hard and absolutely awesome), Shelvey (needs to learn though), Ash and Chico ....(sorry, you guys look scared when a high ball gets into the penalty area) ... the rest including Hernandez will be fine ... time will be on your side. Most however do look confortably on the ball, as they should .. this is a Laudrup side. I have all confidence in our side, we should finish 8-15th and do well in the euro cup. Well, hugs. Have fun folks ... and remember, being nice to others brings niceness to you.
Hi Dan, good post. Unfortunate username (no offence, but you will be automatically assumed a relation of Daiswan!) Welcome to the board Disagree on Bony, he is STRONG and very hungry. Shelvey has been great but then poor in the same game (why pool fans lost patience also). Early days for the lad though.
Hi - good post and welcome. I honstly belive Swansea will win the EL unless they come across FC København...
A valid point on Bony midweek, actually. Thought he had an off night even though he put himself about and tried until the end. Poor ball control and passing. Still think he's going to be a star though.
Cool Dan, feel free to post in Danish between yourself, Cove and Mikra. It will really make Dilli think he is uber-pissed
Det kan vi sagtens Swim og Dilli er kugleskøre alligevel, de har godt af at blive bagtalt en gang i mellem. No I would never post in Danish here - it's out of concept...
No worries. Welcome to the fold and by the way, Dilli and myself are oddballs (if my translation is up to anything!!)
Calling Shelvey a joker... Joker doesn't mean the same in danish as in English. In danish a joker means a trump, and in english it means a jester or someone who is not to be taken seriously. So instead of saying joker you'd say wildcard or something like that.
