I still listen to Roxy music now and again, their early stuff was years ahead of it's time but Pyjamrama and Virginia Plain are 2 of my favourites, again sadly I still know all the lyrics.

GOd I had forgotten about that sort of stuff. My own bizarre stunt is probably worse. DO you remember in the 70's when you used to phone up and get a song played on your landline? It sounds totally absurd now. I recorded a COckney Rebel song off the phone on a cassette

Alex Harvey was brilliant I never saw him live though I met his mother once at a wedding just after she died. My mate married his cousin. She said I reminded her of him which I don't know is a good thing

Bob Ezrin is an excellent producer. He also did "The Wall" for Floyd did he not? He also produced arguably the best Lou Reed album," Berlin". I don't know if you know it? It's probably one of the most manic records ever. One song, "The kids" has these weans bawling their eyes out. The urban myth has always been that Ezrin locked them in the studio and said things over the microphone like your mummy's left you, your mummy's dead. I used to find it unlistenable when I had a smoke.

That's actually not bad, the original is better obviously but not bad at all apart from the double tap drumming.
