Giving the benefits spongers a severe kick in the baws.

Unsurprisingly Labour have piped up saying its wrong <wah> since they are the friendly party that like to give to the poor <laugh> aye right.

They also think more jobs should be created if we're going to make the lazy ****ers do community work for their state handout. Aye thats what to do, create hunners of public sector admin jobs resulting in endless beaurocracy and a black hole in public funding <doh>

Make the fat bastards work, they should be whipped if they stop picking up litter. Any refusal or no shows should result in them being captured and culled.

I agree with making the fat bastards work.

But there is a much much bigger issue of tax dodging loop holes which costs the country an estimated £65 billion a year in lost tax, vs the estimated 5bn a year in benefit cheating.

No **** likes scroungers but I think the Tories have done a slight of hand in making us all concentrate on that when there are several top members of their own party who don't even declare themselves as living in the UK to avoid paying tax.

P.S. After saying this I can hardly talk, I pay **** all tax to the UK government because I'm registered as living in Guernsey despite flying back and forth to my family every week - and the only reason my company is in Guernsey is to dodge UK tax.

    read the whole comment

I'm not about to chuck a couple of hundred quid a month towards the Uk state when members of that government on much more money than me are dodging more tax than me. I'm pointing out the problem while acknowledging I'm benefiting from it.

Well actually when saying I'm benefiting from it I'm actually not. I have to be in Guernsey or Malta or Gibraltar or some other tax haven because I work for an online industry who refuses to pay the tax of the big countries. With the amount of money it's costing me for having a second house here in Guernsey and paying for flights every other week to get back and forth to the missus and kids I'd rather be paying the 40% UK income tax to live in Belfast than the 15% in Guernsey. No ****ing good jobs in Belfast though.

When the Tories won the election, I was a little worried that they **** it up ... but to date, they've made some smart decisions and I salute them for tackling the issue of people who see the dole as a lifestyle choice!

im still sceptical about the size of the cuts they are making and think it may be enough to tip us back in to recession.

Some of the cuts seem severe ... but hopefully short term!
