Didn't think Villa looked too threatening despite all their shots and possession in the second half. Toure was a man on a mission today but Agger looked dodgy as **** as, imo, he often does. Johnson is really pissing me off again with always having to do one thing too many or constantly try and have a shot once he cuts inside. Breaks down alot of moves. Aspas and Hendo worked hard and closed down/won the ball back alot. I have confidence in Mignolet to pull a save out the bag when needed, looks like a great player. Impressed we ground out a win against a tough side, this is a game we would normally come away from with a point or worse.
To think Villa were complaining about not getting one mid week. If Lambert comes away saying anything other than they got away with the one today.
