Livermore was Motm for me, closely followed by Davies. Livermore brought energy to the midfield which we haven't had for a while. It was also Koren's best game for a while.
Davies was superb. Immense in the air. Only came unstuck once when he tried to nip in to cut out a pass and missed it. Second best performance on the pitch for me.
Forgot to mention that surging run he made forward. Nearly got in and won us a corner. Class that was.
He was a total beast. Fantastic. I thought Figueroa was superb too, and he has all the tricks in the his locker in terms of niggling the opposition, wasting time and especially gaining yards at free kicks. He was driving Snodgrass to distraction. The guts shown today by the team was incredible.
Curtis was totally dominant back there. His positioning, strength in the air, and speed (on the break) are England quality. Made Turner look ponderous. Brilliant signing by SB.

He was a colossus today and should've been MotM ahead of an an excellent THud and Koren. Great that we had a few worthy candidates.
He was a ****ing brick wall. Nothing was getting past him. A monumental performance. Probably the best defensive performance I have ever seen at City.
I was happy with his signing, I always rated him, I confess that I wobbled a bit after his pre-season performances, but two games in, I'm happy again.
