So Ernest Hemingway beats Royal Diamond twice very comfortably, including giving away weight last time, one of those was at this track and one was over this distance, yet today Royal Diamond comes out and wins. As usual the flat form book just flies straight out of the window
Planteur placed in group 1 races the las twice at turning out tonight at Windsor. Surely even 4/7 is a massive price! Double with Cameron Highland in the race after. Shirocco star hasn't won since about 1927 so can't be having her at odds on. Cameron won this race last year and looked as good as ever last time out

Decent day in the end. Ended up well in profit as my two main bets won. Didnt have time to do a write up for Lancelot du lac but I was always fairly confident, 1lb lower than last time when he was the best horse in the race but blatantly didnt stay. 1 furlong shorter was always going to be in his favour!
