Ah well, a draw is better than a defeat I suppose. Not great.

Listened to this game on Radio Scotland while doing a bit of work. Good recovery by Celtic, but, ICT should have put ye to the sword after being 0-2.

First premier game av paid attention to all season.

Efetobore Ambrose Emuobo did well for a change but top marks to Adam James Matthews for taking charge and showing exactly the sort of, driving, forward play that was needed. Charles Patrick Mulgrew needs to sharpen up his awareness of opposing players around him. Not convinced by Amido Baldé but early days yet. All-in-all a good recovery from the early two goal deficit and we should have won it on the second half performance alone but frustrating to see such a poor start ... even if it wasn't our strongest eleven.

Seems to me Balde did **** all throughout the match. Then again, ye know whit it's like listening to fitba on radio, ye don't see anywhere near the full picture.

Balde was actually quite good, a bit Raw but he held the ball up well at times, looks strong but will need time to adapt. Had a few good headers just over the bar, on another day he could have a had a couple. I'm starting to like look of him.

Mulgrew and izzie your two men short neither should be near the team , thought Balde hold up play was good, where did the injury time go to , two players booked for time wasting , goalie injured , 5 subs and a goal yet only 3 mins . Thompson once a cheat always a cheat

Amido Balde certainly got well involved in the game and had some good touches. As has been said, he did hold the ball up well at times though not enough for my liking and I thought he could have laid the ball off a lot better and quicker as well. He was heavily marked however and it will be interesting to see how he develops from coaching ... he is only 22 after all. I thought Emilio Arturo Izaguirre Girón did ok - particularly after his bit of a nightmare last week.

Thought Atijic looked good for 10 mins he was on , good first touch and composed , great cross to back post as well . What were the thoughts on Balde booking ??? Didn't look to touch the goalie at the game

Hopefully that dutch boy is fit. We need his pace and quality to stand any chance.

Yes, to me, we need to get plenty of movement in amongst those two banks of five defenders to shake them up a bit but we'll also need to be prepared to defend in numbers to prevent being hit on the break again. I can't see Shakhter Karagandy altering their style of play so we should know what to expect from them.

On a point of note and not particularly interesting at that, Adriano scored for Barca tonight. He looks like he's. developed into a big strong boy over the last while.... Still a smallie, but strong.

Anyway, he scored a goal just like the first against us yesterday, just left footed....

Not an interesting story at all.... Sorry

Anything you say, not interesting? Never! :emoticon-0105-wink:

Unfortunately and unavoidably, had to miss the game tonight Reb but believe it was a narrow and hard fought win with Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini out injured at the moment. Yes, Adriano Correia Claro is certainly a sturdy lad and shaping up well. Also excited by what I've seen so far of Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior who is looking like he'll fit right in.

I see Falkirk have been given permission to use the multi ball system in their league matches , 20 balls available same as in European matches . Surely Celtic will follow this up , stop teams time wasting at our place .
