Well you stated that fact in response me saying it's probably not all it seems, it certainly read like you believed it. But surely you know as well as I do that local media are not always reliable. They have probably read about it on twitter and written it up for the paper. I'm sure you're right that Di Canio will give his side of the story without too much persuading. I'm willing to bet it won't be quite as juicy as is being reported.
If it is as being suggested by one of the two 'witnesses', it sounds like Sunderland stepped in to end it, if anything.
WARNING: The sun is currently out in Southampton. With the revelation earlier in this thread that some people won't go to a game incase its raining, just to let those who don't like the sun know incase they need to alter their plans today and miss the game.
Sky Sports News just showed new signing Dani Osvaldo walking around the ground, taking pictures on his iPhone.
Just playing devil's advocate here - of course there's going to be people who aren't as fanatical, who may (or may not) decide on the spur of the moment, perhaps on the day, that's they'd like to go and watch the football. They may not be drenched in the team colours, they might even decide not to buy the ticket on the day. They're not you, they're not me. But they are allowed. You do realise that right? There's nothing 'wrong' with them. Or should the experience of going to a game be exclusively reserved for the likes of you? You can only come in if you can recite the words to the following songs.....if you've been to Huddersfield away.....if you've had at least five pints before coming in. Come on......it's okay to accept casual fans too.
