Don't be so bloody cynical you - we've all seen the films. They could eat them as they're probably more edible than some of the stuff they have to put up with in training and everyone would live happily ever after. Now say sorry to Jonno....................

Chemical Weapons are incredibly ineffective, I'd imagine the SAS would sort them out.

Wasn't there a weapons inspection team residing only 15 minutes from the alleged incident?

Yeah, 15 minutes if there's no traffic. Bit longer if it's slap bang in the middle of a war zone.

How did the rebels deliver the chemical weapons do you think?

Only the Syrian regime have the ability.

The more I think about it the more I don't think people should be too quick to judge Syria. If I woke up tomorrow to find out that the Government had orchestrated a chemical weapons attack at a packed Anfiled I'd be over ****ing joyed <ok>

And Scousers living in the Orkneys would claim compensation for their injuries, claiming to have been at the scene of the attack.

I actually edited my post from "The World over". <whistle>

Reminds me of a play about Lincoln's assassination being shown in A New York theatre. When Lincoln got shot half the audience left because they did not want to get involved.

A friend asked me to be a witness for their wedding - I said "if you think you can get married without inviting me and then expect me to lie to the Police for you you can **** off".

Another play story about the Musical version of Anne Frank's Diary. The story goes that it was so bad that when the Nazis appeared on stage for the first time, someone in the audience shouted out "She's in the attic".

I generally support the Assad side in this, and have done since pretty much the start. It's only guessing really but I suspect what's happened here is one of :

-a set up by the rebels
-a f*** up by the rebels
-a f*** up by someone in the army acting without authority.

There is no chance imo, or very little chance anyway, that this was ordered by Assad.
