I don't think that a sub forum where anything goes would be a good idea as it would be open to abuse and would need to be heavily moderated. The GC of a while back was close to getting out of hand and having a sub forum would encourage the type of poster that loves to get a reaction. I don't think there's much that you can't say on here it already seems very much a forum that people are able to speak their mind. Who got the short term ban and what for?
Sub forums are a bad idea they will attract lunatics like Hash. It may be a good idea to think of new threads and ways of posting info and maybe revamping the groups section but not sub forums. So funny that Hash got a ban I once asked him to attack a wum with octo porn when I was mod. #badmod
What I miss? Some **** about sub forums going on which is about a good an idea as cross threads. Sheep, goats whatever.
You still are mod albeit on a **** forum It's like being a father, being responsible for something where you should feel proud... but finding out your kid is a **** that no one likes
So in short we need a second Liverpool forum on here. One for the bullshit and one for the straight shooters. Sort it out. As an aside, the LFC forum seems to be the most active place on this site (or one of) but it's kinda like a cross between One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Rain Man. You effin weirdos. #blamesuarez
I wasn't aware of this but I've just been informed that the Liverpool board used to have a sub-forum but it was removed because the main bored became inactive.
I disagree, this place has always had a mix of footy and.....well complete nonsense I don't see the need to change it, however change is always needed or things just get boring and a way of making the groups and video sections of the forum may be a good idea. Most don't even know that they can create a group or post vids in a specific section, if the said sections were more user friendly and accesible then that may be a good idea. But the mix of fun and footy that is out board needs to remain the same, quite simply if someone doesn't like a thread leave it alone.
Yes, from memory (which isn't so good) we had a welcome thread that had the music thread a general chat and other nonsense in it but people stopped using the threads.
Lets keep the sub-forum discussion in here please fellas, we don't need it spreading over two or three threads
Why has everyone kicked up a fussed over things recently. All summer everyone was happy when there was no football, now the football season has started everyone is moaning about thread's and the forum in general
I wasn't advocating that at all, internet irony loss. Couldn't give a **** what gets posted on here really, it's an internet forum, it will attract lunacy and it will attract earnestness, both are good! I though deleting the 'snails thread' was a bit of an over reaction as it contained that stuff in one place, compartmentalisation, when it went the snails slithered into other areas where they perhaps weren't best serving themselves and confused even more the posters who have trouble filtering out the humorous/inane stuff from the footy talk.
If we had lost a game I would have expected it but I don't get it at the moment. Loved your analogy of a mod btw.
I reckon it's because at the moment things are looking rosy and us English need a good reason to moan And why thank you good sir
I think the snails thread was just a casualty of there being too many nonsense threads at once but **** HAPPENS, too much was made of it by RHC (ALL HIS FAULT) I haven't been on here much today so missed the supposed drama but this all seems a fuss over nothing, I like my idea of revamping the groups section?
Wasn't directed at you. Was just in general, seems like loads of people been kicking up a fuss over posts and off topic threads etc. Would have expected it over summer with no football, but now the season starts would have expected everyone to be happy again
