When logging on this morning, I saw that the most recent thread posted on was called "Wikipedia change thread" in the Premier League. Intrigued, I clicked on it as I respect Wikipedia and it helped me loads during my degree. Not to my surprise, I see the immature little ****s have been playing at changing entries that they thought would be funny, and trying to get banned. Now things like that make me very angry, as Wikipedia is one of the best projects launched on the internet, and the volunteers do all their work for no profit. It also made me notice another thing... Ever since joining I've been surprised by how thick most of the Geordie fans on here are. Now I have never cared for either Sunderland or Newcastle, but on this forum the difference is shocking. Most Mackems are a reasonable lot, and every one on GC is a good poster. Whereas their Geordie counterparts have ****s like Joker. Sorry for this rant, those little teenage ****s really pissed me off this morning...
Pisses me off how active their forum is and how they all rep each other like some lubed-up Jesmond circle-jerk.
"Oh, you posted a pic of a (vaguely hot) girl, have some rep" Seems to be all the little ****stains seem capable of saying
They're kids, one of the mods is still at school "Have some rep mate" "Yeah mate, thanks mate. I can't rep you right now mate" - Agreed Joker is just some nasty miserable git, you feel somehow soiled and disease-exposed every time he posts.
Wht degree were you doing, because if wikipedia was an acceptable source for it you can be sure the degree aint worth the paper that was used for your certificate. If it wasnt an acceptable source and you used wikipedia anyway then you are just a straight up idiot. What was your classification, il be surprised if it was higher than a third
I think your post says what most of us were thinking when we read this article. No offence, like. To either yourself or the OP.
Translation: go and leave your intestines dangling over revolving spikey things and place you tenderloins in a big nasty crushing thingamy you numbnut dipweed ****ferbrains smeg-stain.
I did a degree in Computer Science, so only used Wiki when needed to check references to algorithms/concepts/... I didn't do a poncy degree that requires a few essays
Wikipedia's a good portal to find sources. Just click on the references and it usually takes you to a decent academic link. Anyway I don't really give a toss if the Geordies are trying to vandalize it, usually gets redacted within 30 seconds judging by how quick they were when I claimed Wikipedia for the North the other night.
