It will be an open network tomorrow, just enter an email address and you're free to use it.

took you to a front page with a picture of the stadium and some links on it to the shop etc. also a enter button or something. hit that and just asks for an email address and tick box for T's and C's then your through. forced you onto the Hull City website to start off with which is slow as usual, but fine after that. said its a trial so will probably change as we go through the season.

    Ehh? 512k what?

They'll have thought that through surely. I'd be very surprised if KC haven't fitted a fibre line with a huge bandwidth.

512k is half a meg download each, which is fine for browsing but you wouldnt be able to watch live streaming or anything. should be watching match anyhow

KC could supply Gigs of bandwidth. Its just how much the Allams have splashed out for

That's great news so long as it works at a reasonable speed, getting a decent 3G signal has always been a problem for us inside the stadium

I very rarely get 3G anywhere in Hull. A bit on Holdeness Road and sometimes in town.

You might want to join a new network or get a new phone.

That's very strange. I get 4g when I'm in hull- never had a problem. In fact I would say it's better than most cities

I thought you were saying the whole bandwidth was 512Kbps at first... that would be ridiculous. As you say for each person that'd be enough to check scores etc.

It would be nice if they could find a way to make 3G signal work inside the stadium as I get about 3 Mbps down over 3G which is much easier than connecting to Wifi hotspots.

512k is plenty, could also easily stream if it runs at the full 512k per person.

On signal, I always have a full 3G signal, but there so many people trying to use the bastard it just never loads a fecking thing. Much the same at almost all football stadia.

Apparently the solved this problem at the olympics by putting a mast in the stadium.

Wifi seems a tad slow. Stadium pretty empty and other than short bursts its pretty unusable. Flashscores too about 5 mins. This pags failed 3 times previously.

Although it just sped up a bit. Maybe lays on extra bandwidth on demand.
