Is the new car park - by the east end of the bridge - finished yet?

There is marked parking spaces there but not sure how safe/secure they are for overnight.
Only seen it from Myton Bridge.
Would use Premier Inn parking facility if staying there.

I don't think the Bob family is actually staying in Hull, but rather visiting on the Saturday.

All-day carpark on Lowgate is £5 for the full day, closes 6pm. From 6pm on-street parking is free in Hull City Centre.

A good place to eat near The Deep depends on daytime or nighttime.
Daytime The Wilson, Garbos, Cuckoos, Leonardos, McCoys all nearby. Evening you have 13 bistro, Ceruttis, Minerva, 1884DSK, Or anywhere on Newland Ave. Only naff meal I've had on Newland is Xanders - so can't really go wrong there.

Streetlife Museum, Hull & East Riding museum, Arctic Cosair, Spurn Lightship, walk round the marina, Wilberforce House, fish trail... all worth it as something extra to do.

A novel idea Chazz, one worthy of being made into a story no doubt. The only catch is, she couldn't drive 100 yards if life itself depended on it. When I tried to teach her how to drive, after around 20 odd goes at pulling off, she managed to stall trying to go from 1st to 2nd.

After getting back to the bob family manor after our day in Hull, my opinion is the deep is alright, nothing spectacular but decent enough for an hour or so. The city centre is pretty bloody nice to be fair and with a bit of investment could easily be one of the nicest city centres in the country. That big area of boarded up and burned out buildings near the deep needs sorting though, crossing that bridge was like crossing the border into Bratislava. Had a lovely lunch at some little Italiano Stylio place called Paolo's in the old town, wasn't bad at all for the low prices.

Final verdict: Hull is an alright little place when you've got no fûcking idea what there is, what to look for or where you're going, but its obviously a far better day when there's a home match.
