With Falque gone, we only have 23 over-21s in our squad, and that includes Gomes, BAE, Bale, and Ade
    Lloris; Friedel; Gomes (3)
Walker; Naughton; Dawson; Vertonghen; Kaboul; Rose; Assou-Ekotto (7)
    Paulinho; Capoue; Dembele; Sandro (4)
Bale; Lennon; Townsend; Chadli; Holtby; Siggurdsson (6)
    Soldado; Defoe; Ade (3)

If the rumours about BAE and Ade are correct, and if Bale leaves, it looks as if we could still be trying to bring in a CB, LB, AM/Winger (x2?), ST. That's a lot of business still to do.

The transfer show continues with the usual twists and turns. The difference of course is that now we EXPECT to sign players. It's like late xmas morning I just want to get all this paper cleared up and get on with the main course. With half a thought to the usefullness or not of all these presents. How long before thay are on their way to the charity shop.

it was all going so well, signings coming in paid for by bale and with coentrao, lamela and willian on the way in.
Chelsea have really dealt us a kick in the balls, there is no doubting that, and i'm not sure why Mourinho feels the need to rub it in further in his press conference. Anyway, leave them to it, rise above. Someone of his age and "intellect" (note the quotes) should know better and behave better but ho-hum.

It also looks like Coentrao might be a no go, so where do we go there? How far done is Lamela?

If Bale leaves and neiter of those come in then i think i'd suddenly be feeling a little depressed.

We'd be looking at a massive negative outlay in the transfer market AGAIN

The way I see it is a three course meal. Had the starter, main meal, and now just waiting for what delights is the dessert!

Spurs fans should not think Chelsea 'deliberately' hijacked the Willian deal as as apparently we've been after him for some time... But it does feel good getting one over you Spuds <ok>

I'll piss myself if he fails a work permit after all this.

In other news, apparently Sandro has unfollowed Willian on Twitter! <laugh> LEGEND!

This Willian and his people seem like a bunch of turds. Making overtures to us, ditching us for you, then ditching you for Chelski after the free health check. I guess Champions League football pays in various ways, extra revenue but also through the club having more of an allure to certain players. Helps if your owner has somewhat dodgy connections with the club you're doing business with too. <laugh> Anyway like us I think you're better off without Willy I think we decided he was over priced and he seems to be out for himself, I'm sure you'll have other players lined up and look in good shape for a top 4 challenge this season.

Yep, all fair points <ok> I don't think anyone was overly sold on him anyway. We hoped he would improve the team, but Lamela is more important to us.

It's Kia Joorabchian, the guy that was responsible for the whole Tevez and Mascherano disaster with West Ham.
Saying that, I've just remembered that he's unlicensed in the UK or at least he was. Don't know if he's rectified that.
Given that Willian posted a picture with him before the whole mess with Chelsea, specifically referring to him as his agent and it's against the FA's rules to use an unlicensed one, this could get interesting... <whistle>

Dinner with the best agents in the world! @juniormendonza #kia.

no wonder you lost to Willian, he's a twat and did the same to us with Tevez, kept talking to the press every minute.
