VDG has crashed off camera, he's out of the car and all fine. Its all kicking off I think they've added more camber limits for this weekend so they can't push it to much.
Both Red Bulls 0.8s ahead of the rest, looking ominous. and we're spreading please log in to view this image

Wasnt that what they were doing at Hungary too?..i noticed something Hamilton said though so watch out: When it was put to Hamilton that Mercedes often starts a weekend badly and then recovers on a Saturday, he said the team was aware of the trend. "I know why that is but I'm not going to tell you! It is that way; not every time are we going to be able to find the right way but I need to see if we can make the right changes which should help."
Seems Red Bull are very on it. Vettel is making bags of time in S1 and S3 with his low downforce setup whilst Webber is making it up with a fast S2! Looking like only the weather will stop a Vettel victory... The BBC and MyWeather2 are saying a dry FP3 and light rain for qualifying, followed by heavy rain in the evening. Both are saying showers/light rain on Sunday afternoon.
I was a bit worried that Pirelli were making excuses for the tyre failures like they did earlier in the season, but the tyres are safe. Good news. EDIT: Raikkonen clearly staying at Lotus next year
If Mercedes are holding back, they're doing a good impression of making their car look like it is nervous under breaking and has little grip!
Wow great job VDG. And congratulations to Marussia, I may be mistaken but I think this is the first time that the team have got both cars into Q2. It's the first Q2 for them since 2010.
I hope Bianchi and Chilton aren't penalised for setting a personal best under yellows. In fact, I hope di Resta gets a penalty for dangerously rejoining the track
