Sunderland AFC News And Banter Page: @SpazioJuve Tuttosport: golden handshake for De Ceglie in transfer to Sunderland? http://www.spaziojuve.it/2013/tuttosport-buonuscita-per-de-ceglie-nel-trasferimento-al-sunderland/ TRANSLATE :- Uttosport seems sure: De Ceglie will go to Sunderland in the coming days. Although the official offer of the English club is not received in Corso Galielo Ferraris, there are already agreements in principle, and would have also solved the problem of the will of the player, not fully convinced by the destination and willing to continue with the champions 'Italy, both for economic reasons and for reasons related to the importance of the club. To resolve his doubts, in fact, Juventus should offer the player a golden handshake, the consistency of which is not known, but it should be equal to the bonus that the player would have received by staying in Turin. By Wednesday the issue should be resolved, for better or for worse, but the inclusion of the aforementioned economic balance in favor of the player could be really decisive. De Ceglie, in Sunderland, find himself the former mate Emanuele Giaccherini, who has already walked the path that the leaders Juventus are trying to build for the Valle d'Aosta. Come to daddy !
Is he any good mate? don't know a lot about him to be honest although a few on here seem to rate him.
I know mate, love the windows but i cant wait for us to complete our business and the barsteward to shut
Contrasting Stories Emerging. http://talksport.com/football/juventus-star-reject-sunderland-13082857543 Juventus star to reject Sunderland Paolo De Ceglie is set to change his mind and fight for his place at Juventus, despite ongoing interest from Sunderland. The left-back managed just 12 league starts last season and talkSPORT revealed how he was up for a move to England. Sunderland were keen on the 26-year-old and talks over his future were held last week. A move away from the Serie A champions was discussed but De Ceglie has had a change of heart and now wants to stay with Juve. http://www.clubcall.com/serie-a/juve-defender-set-for-black-cats-1624355.html Juve defender set for Black Cats Sunderland are closing in on the singing of Juventus defender Paolo De Ceglie before the transfer window closes next week. The reigning Serie A champions have given the 26-year-old permission to speak to the Premier League club after coming to an agreement over the transfer fee. Black Cats boss Paolo Di Canio is keen to fill the left-back role with Danny Rose returning to Tottenham after a successful loan spell at the Stadium of Light last term. De Ceglie will arrive with a wealth of experience, featuring in 115 Serie A matches while making another 16 appearances in European competitions. Di Canio has already raided Juve for one defender this summer, signing Emmanule Giaccherini, and now he is expected to add De Cegile to his ranks. The Sunderland chief has brought in 11 new faces to his first-team squad already and has said he wants at least another before the window closes on Monday night.
I wish we would just sign somebody i'm sick of the countless rumours. We've been knocked back more times then a ugle prozzie by most of seria a's left back.
A lot of rumours will be just that rumors. I'm just glad we've got Angeloni's vast portfolio and have proper backup targets instead of Tore André Flo esque panic signings. We'll only be agreeing deals on scouted targets and that's comforting.
Unfortunately you would probably got with TalkSport over ClubCall as a reputable story. However I think these are both just guess work. If he is fringe at Juve and they need the cash after Tevez and Illorente you can bet they will push him out the door. Conte didn't even want to get rid of Giaccherini and they still let him go for the dosh. If the player want to leave, Juve will sell. If Juve want to sell, the player will be told to leave. Such is the way with Serie A these days.
I'm sure players (unless the are Steve Harper) don't want to spend a season warming a bench for a couple of cameo appearances. Especially in a world cup year. I think we will get a couple more and a couple will leave.
