Technically, I think, until he actually coughs up the names, it's blackmail.

    It's either

    a) a bizarre Traynor idea to deflect from the EGM news
    or
    b) an attempt to pressurize the SFA into reducing their charge against Black

    I'm going b) = blackmail

Dev, that's a Norwegian word meaning 'pinch' - assume you're using it as a 'slang' word ... meaning what?

I'd have spelled it as "clipe"

    It's a Scottish word meaning tell-tale - either as a verb or a noun.

A clipe can clipe - cliping is done by a clipe etc

Thanks, another lesson learned and another new word to enrich my my ever-expanding vocabulary ... and before anyone is tempted to sarcastically refer to my waistline - I have a six pack.

Clipe is acceptable, as is Clype I suppose, it's a bit like "Broo" and "Burroo", interchangable spellings, I like the sound of the harsh "K" though personally.

When I was at Paisley Uni, the Union building was the old DHSS centre and the Union was referred to, even in formal University stuff, as "The Burroo".

I've always gone with that spelling - it's meant to be a mis-pronunciation of "bureau" according to the **** they told you in the matriculation docs.

Previous to that, I thought it had something to do with signing on and getting tea.
