Torres has to make it up to chelsea. He has scored 6 more goals against them than he has for them.
    Against Chelsea 7 goals.
    For Chelsea 1 goal.
Michael Owen has also scored more goals against Man United than he has for Man United.

I would be surprised if he didn't get 10 plus goals.

I love it if he didn't, currently the worst buy in history!

Welcome to the site by the way.

Would be funny to see him flop completely but he's a top class player so I'm sure he'll hit form eventually.

Yer that's why i'm reluctant to predict anything.

The difference between him in 2008 and now is unbelievable though.

Realy has dropped like a bomb.

Just a note to say you could have posted this on the Chelsea board if you really wanted it to be a discussion and take in the views of how the Chelsea lads feel about it but as you didn't its best kept here.

I agree about that, we are saying go to your own board and we post a wum invite.

Judas flops would have been a better title

    He's already scored for Chelsea.

    Indeed.

Not an untidy side these days, well organized in defense usually too.

A bloody clinical toepunt. As if the part of the foot he scores it with makes it a lesser goal anyway, it was still deliberate.

In the same time he's scored one less than Andy Carroll.

    Both were laughable purchases.

carrolls been injured half the time while torres has been able to play, plus both carrolls goals were class. so you just scuttle off back to your corner now.

None of them cost £35 million, and the more expensive purchases were for already established players that weren't plying their trade in the championship iin the previous year, and not valued at a whopping £34 million less.

    Try again.<laugh>

£35 million for an injured championship player who gave you two "class" goals.

    Brilliant business.

    2 in 8 compared to 1 in 18.

    That's 1 in 4 to 1 in 18.

    Over four times as many.

We made a £15m profit and got the country's most promising striker.

You made a £50m loss and got a donkey with a long face.

    So who's really laughing?

    Oh. My. Sides.
