I'm refraining from any mocking until the session is over and the drivers I like are safe Vettels really got the wrong rear wing for this kind of weather.

Alonso looked competitive in those conditions with his higher downforce rear wing - his times in the middle sector were amazing. With rain forecast for Saturday and Sunday, I wonder if others will switch to a higher downforce wing. Apparently Ferrari were running with a lot more rake, that might have helped. This weekend could be very good for Alonso.
It also makes your first prediction correct Alonso's wing is still pretty shallow but its Monaco spec compared to Red Bull's! please log in to view this image
Good article here: http://www.f1zone.net/news/trackside-at-spa-francorchamps-fp1/20108/ I love that final sentence. Bianchi needs a better car next year.

I was wondering the same thing. I wouldn't be surprised if they were sandbagging as it seems unlikely that both cars would be slower than Vergne and Pérez. Then again, they could be trying things out for tomorrow or Sunday when conditions are expected to be very different from those of this afternoon.
