Pretty much all if it is bollocks to be honest so let's not go there.

I am not confident I wouldn't start to call you names.

I'd start with the makey uppey word. You'd say that it was mean of me to point out a spelling mistake, even though it isn't a spelling mistake as the word doesn't remotely resemble the one you mean. You'd say that it doesn't change the substantive point of your post. I'd have to agree with that and say it was easier doing that than pointing out the dozens of historical and contextual errors in your posts. You'd reject them because you are proud. I'd start calling you names and you'd take it badly and we'd fall out.

It's already late and you've got to get off to bed. So just leave it eh?

There's so much ***** in this post its difficult to know where to start, get your numbers right first of all if you want to argue here boyo.

Also are we to start breaking up every country depending on small enclaves who refuse to go with the democratic majority. Doesnt matter anyhow, in 2016 there will be a Catholic majority in NI, within the following decade there will be a Catholic voting majority. Slowly but surely as each constituency and LGD falls into a majority nationalist representation the loyalist beel grows as they sense a tide they cannot turn. No better demonstrated than in the past year.

Out of interest, have you just finished a book on the history of the IRA or something - and now have an urge to discuss it with people?

I have those urges when I finish books all the time.

The whole of ireland was a "small enclave". In the debate in parliament prior to the creation of the free state, one respected mp pointed out that the western isles (the shetland islands) had more right to call itslef a country than ireland, and he was quite right. there was no "democratic majority". noone in the rest of the uk voted on irish independence. in the south of ireland 38% of the electorate voted for independence after 10 years of intimidation by sinn fein. in the north of ireland, 98% voted to stay part of the uk. you talk about a tiny majority, but in 1916 before michael collins' murder campaign which was designed to turn opinion against the british, there were 5 people in the whole country who were known to want an irish republic. 5 fackin people.

No, at the height of world war 1, when most of the men of ireland were fighting the germans in the british army, a very small group of radical fanatics who wouldnt go to fight in europe, tried to facilitate a german invasion of ireland and went round dublin shooting people and blowing up buildings while the police were on a jolly at the races. at the end of the world war, after britain and ireland had beaten the germans and britain was left almost bankrupt, the fanatics started shooting unarmed countrymen which led to a liberal coilition government in the uk ceding a free state to ireland, after 40 years of britain trying to push through home rule for ireland but it getting voted down by irish unionists. after 38% of the free state's electorate voted for independence, sinn fein declared independence which britain accepted, not least because it had nazi germany to sort out.
