Wow. I felt sorry for you until I remembered your other job as a Judith Chalmers. You're such a caring guy, enjoy while you're young. Regarding the rest, who the hell buys papers these days?! OLM I'm surprised at you, don't you use your iPad when away??
What a mistaka to make. Shame really, used to be some good nights in there, if you knew what was going on. If you didn't, you could be in the ****, literally.
There's a nice place (albeit pricey) near the Mint Casino. Grand café I think it's called Also a few nice places around OXford street , white star tavern and stuff. The Ikea hot dogs are great also
Wagamama is the only chain restaurant I frequent - it's good, compared to the rest of the chain ****e you listed. Plus there's only 22 miles between Portsmouth and Southampton, hardly the same as Grimsby to Hull.
Chill mate. It's not a pissing contest. I will be driving around Pompey tomorrow and have an office 200mtrs from Fratton Park. Gun Wharf Quays is fine if you want designer outlet and high street branded food. Port Solent has had it's day and is tired. Southampton for all it's sins is very dynamic. The cruise ship industry brings millions into the City and it really shows at times. I wouldn't drive to Portsmouth for just a pint and or a meal. If I had to go anywhere I would head into the New Forest.
