See, that doesn't make sense to me. Why would Chelsea bid more than us? Our bid's been accepted, hasn't it? Why not just match it and offer the player more money?
It was clear today we needed a playmaker, that sounds like willian more than LaLa who has played wide when I've seen but often cutting in
Oh - also - one final WUM from Jose. He WUMs Real if we pull out of the Bale deal. He WUMs Spurs - a local rival He WUMs AVB - his former 'apprentice'
Like I said earlier I honestly think Willian has used us to smoke out a CL team...he is not interested in joining us and will not be a spurs player on Sept 3rd
BBC reporting Chelsea have shown interest. There is a chance we could sell Bale and other deals fall through as it's been said above, these type of players hold out for CL footy and have no shame in leading clubs on to line their own pockets.
Problem for AVB/Levy is going to be that any target of ours that becomes known is highly likely to be hijacked. Mad Dog is rich enough and devious enough to buy Willian for no reason other than to stop us strengthening further. We'd be a massive rival to Chelsea, if we got in all of the additional targets with whom we have been linked. If Willian joins the Chavs it will be a big mistake for him, because he clearly is not needed at Chavs; and whilst I don't think we need him either, I will conceded that he'll probably be an improvement on the other options that we have, so he's likely to get first nod in the first XI. He won't get that at Chavs.
It was strange that he was pictured everywhere when he flew in, I commented on it at the time. Lets hope we don't see Lamela til it's announced
If they signed him they'd have £160mill worth of attacking midfielders and wingers to choose to play behind a choice of 3 strikers worth £80mill. Bollocks they're not ruining football
I'm blaming you entirely for this btw. No Chelsea interest before you posted your earlier comment - now look what you've done. I hope you're happy. [Jk ]
As I said earlier, Abramovic is running scared of Spurs, the Mad Dog is foaming at the mouth. Will Jose survive past his first defeat, Will he get bitten again? Will the Rabid One try and poach AVB?
I am the transfer grim reaper mate...I only paid here a quick visit to give me a break from the my vigil at the emerates
I'd never considered before that Mad Dog might actually have rabies, deedub93, but what you say makes sense. It explains why he's been even madder than he normally is, these past few months. Rabies. That's your answer.
So you leave to come here and Arsenal go and show interest in Di Maria and Benzema! Get out! Go on - back to the Emirates with you! *grabs broom* shoo! shoo!
