Too many mind readers on here. The reasons for failing to get players, BR falling out with the board, blah blah. It's all speculation. Of course it could be true, but equally there may be other explanations for his attitude. Perhaps he's disappointed (most of us are) and finding it difficult to hide. There's no need to assume everything's turning to ****. Anyway chaps, I'm going away for a week and probably won't get online much. It'll give me a break from the doom and gloom. The willian situation is very curious. I wonder if someone has come in with a last minute bid that betters spurs. I have to say if he had passed a medical for us and was still dithering I tell him to sod off. Only want players who want to play. Wonder if spurs would have the balls to do it...call his bluff. i thought it was something stupid like a work permit thing, but is there any substance to why he has not signed yet? also heard it was a cl team who have come in for him, so not us then lol i reckon he will still go to spurs, no idea what this pissing about is all about, but who knows.

Brendan Rodgers is keen to add another centre back to his squad before the transfer window shuts on September 2, and Sakho is a key target. The Reds have already approached PSG to discuss a deal, but their opening offer of £8million was rejected, with the French club speaking to other clubs about the player. However, Sakho has made it clear to PSG this week that Liverpool is the only club he is interested in joining, and had ordered them to let him move to Merseyside.Liverpool have so far failed to return with a new offer for the 23-year-old, but his agent has briefed Rodgers that a bid of around £12million would be enough to do business. Sakho currently scoops around £60,000-a-week at PSG, which is topped up further with large performance related bonuses. It's a giant salary that Liverpool would be uncomfortable with paying, but Sakho is believed to be so keen to make the move, he would be consider lowering it.
