    Regarding departures.
Its clear that Kenny doesn't rate the likes of Jones,Konchesky,Jovanovic,Cole and Poulsen.I reckon all of them will be gone this summer.Stoke are sniffing around Poulsen and if they put in a half decent bid..he's gone.If the reports are true that Redknapp wants Joe Cole, then he's also gone.He would be happier in London anyway.
Then there is the players that aren't wanted back and don't want to come back,Aquilani,El Zhar,Isua and Degen. If a decent fee can be agreed for the sale of Aquilani then he's going back to Italy.I expect the other three to be released.
Kyriagkos is also set to be released.Fabio Aurelio, good player, smashing lad,but he's unreliable could also be told to go.
Then there is the likes of Amoo,Eccleston and Ince and Pacheco and Darby.Should they be kept or sent on loan again. Is there better in the academy.John Aldridge once said that he expects a minimum of 10 to be sold.I don't think he's far off.

Isn't there one who is supposed to be good playing in France? I cannot remember what team for, but they have just been relegated, and he is available.

Yeah there is,He plays for Monaco. Can't remember his name,However I read a report on my facebook page, there is more than just one Monaco player they are looking at,Park Chu young I think his name is.Liverpool are currently linked with 21 different players. How many are realistic, how many of them Kenny is actually interested in,is another story,we may have to wait and see.

    It seems likely.
It could be nailed by wednesday. The latest reports have suggested that Liverpool and Sunderland have denied speaking to one another,However Henderson himself would welcome the move, and I also heard that Liverpool and Sunderland are just £3 million in the difference between their valuations.A compromise will be reached.I also read a report that Kenny wants all his dealings done as quickly as possible so he can hit the ground running in the new season.

You might not want these players, but the harsh reality is that these are the only players who are likely to want to play for you.

I doubt you will have to wait long, lad. Adam, N'Zogbia and Downing are all on their way.

The only players that want to play for Spurs are Scott Parker( a 2nd rate midfielder who is slightly better than Carrick who is 3rd rate),and 40 year old Brad Friedel. The only reason you have a chance of getting Joe Cole is because Liverpool don't want him and he wants to return to London.

We're going after exciting young international stars, like Leandro, and mixing them in with the experience of undisputed stars of the past, such as Joe Cole and Friedal.

As for Scott Parker, I'm not that fussed by him, but he's better than Palacios, who we are looking to off-load to Naples, so that will be an improvement for us. He'll be 3rd choice holding midfielder, behind Sandro (who is best mates with Leandro) and THudd.

God! I reel these names off like confetti! You 'Pool fans must be soooo envious of us Spurs fans!

Pity the spurs fan..Once again, being used to groom by United. Cole and Friedel..blimey stella signings...Remind us all which club got shot of them.

Modric wants out, Spurs have spent out..Needed a striker in Jan to push on, no monies in the pot.

I dont even get why Spurs feel they are better than us. When Liverpool were in the title race 2 years ago Spurs were in the survival race, then had 1 good season and under achieved the next season.

Spurs only fairly recent trophy was a Carling cup, Liverpool have had a European Cup and an Fa Cup, and a few smaller ones. Plenty of finals to.

He keeps going on about Leandro. The same Leandro that turned Spurs down.

The guy plays for Internacional so i can't imagine he's seen much of him apart from highlights of his 1 international cap. Problem is though, will Harry Redknapp sanction buying a player that hasn't already played for him? My prediciton is he invests the Leandro transfer fee in research so that he can clone Crouch and Defoe and fill the entire starting 11 with them.

The problem is people enjoyed sticking the boot into us last season when the club was a mess from top to bottom. They're clinging onto that right now because we haven't signed anyone yet, so for example Downing's lack of impact yesterday vs Young's big impact is suddenly an indicator of how they compare. Of course it's much easier to do that than compare them consistently through the season (nearly all Villa fans will say Downing was much better for them this season than Young). I'm not fussed if we sign Downing or not, but the fact is he is quick and has a much better cross than Young, and crosses are what we need to get the most out of Carroll. Young might sulk around the pitch, try a few backheels and then bang int he freekicks and penalties, but would he actually get the best out of the players we have? Young is a good player and good value at the moment, but he again is not someone i'm especially bothered about us signing.

As for Charlie Adam, i have changed my mind a few times, but the thing that i think of is those home games, or indeed away games against the bottom teams, where we just haven't had any kind of invention and struggle to break teams down. This guy will bag us goals with his corners, and in the games mentioned he will be the one getting into the box and trying the killer passes, and for only a couple of million more than Poulsen.

N'Zogbia has consistently shown he is a threat, he actually works hard, and can play on both flanks. If his improvement follows Valencia's he will be incredible, but of course it is much more fashionable to slate our potential signings. Think of the difference Riera made to the balance of our team, and N'Zogbia is definitely better than Riera. N'Zogbia has also been playing great in the PL for a few seasons now and is surely just as valuable as someone like Arshavin (who would be seen as a 'quality' signing)

Based on current squads, I would say Spurs were slightly ahead.
