OK, a Fantasy League for Dummies question: how many transfers can I make each week, until when? It looks like you can make 3 a week all season long, or does it just look like that as I haven't done any yet? Thanks for your help peeps, I WILL get the hang of this malarkey soon...
You get one free transfer each week and can roll this over to the following week. So, if you make no transfers this week, you can have two free the following week. Any transfers you make in addition to your free one(s) will deduct 4 points from your overall score. So, if you made three transfers this week, one would be free and the other two would cost you 8 points.
To add to this, only one transfer can roll over. So in other words, it's impossible to have more than two free transfers in one week.
Just put the playersyou want in your starting 11 it will change formations automatically. You must have at least 3 defenders and no more than 3 strikers.

I'm still not sure about 2 things, would one of you regulars be able to help? If I click 'Confirm Your Team' to save changes I've been doing now, can I still change my mind about the team right up until 24 Aug 11:30? I ask as system wouldn't let me do it last week, and don't know if that was just a glitch or not. (I have Norwich's Hooper who is still an injury doubt, but I will want to play him if it looks likely he'll make his debut). Also, can I play with 3 in attack, or do I have to go with the 4 4 2 the system seems to default to? How do I change the formation if it's possible? Thank you!!! I got 89 points in GW1 by the way, which I was pretty pleased about as a first-timer. Yay!
Yeah you can still change your team right up to the deadline, the website gets busy on Saturday morning as people make last minute changes so that might be why you couldn't do it. Just drag a striker from your bench onto the defender/midfielder you want to replace, and the formation will change automatically. 89 points is actually immense, I got like 40.
