Have to say that that applies equally to both sides of the argument - it's exactly what the police were doing.....
And there is the conundrum. It's thankless really - they arrest people they get accused of being heavy handed - they don't arrest people who go on and get involved in real terrorist attrocities and get panned for it. On balance i think I would prefer them to continue with the former.
My 10p worth..... for me there is a difference between terrorism and State ( capital S ) secrets. Funny how the state can hack into anything it likes and if we do it we are subject to prison, detention etc. I think it is the principle of the law and how it is used here which is the issue though.

The BBC have just said on 5-live that "tens of thousand of classified documents" were found on Mr Miranda's computer. Maybe they used the wrong law to detain him, but there does now seem to be a justifiable reason to detain him if he was not entitled to be in possession of these documents.
