Just listened to Mauricio's prematch press conference, he says that he doesn't think Rickie and Dani are that similar and that he thinks they can play together, though this will have to monitored. Can't count him as an academy product, because you know, he isn't. However we can take a lot of credit for his development into the player he is today - as Spurs can do with Bale. Arsenal can take credit for helping Theo stall in reaching his potential (if he ever really does) and for sending Chambo along the same path.
And we stalled Pulis' career too If we hadn't hung on to him, he could have been an average non-league player a lot sooner.
Obviously, Mauricio has been told this about Schneiderlin, perhaps by the lad himself, but the interesting thing to me is that it shows MP takes an interest in what has been going on before he arrived.
