Me neither. I think the sticking point was to do with agent fees or paying off some of the signing on fee which Willian was paid by Anzhi (either way, it was an extra £5m I read) ...
I don't think its a forgone conclusion that he would chose us in a straight choice. Spurs have a better squad, European football (only Europa League but still...), they're based in London and their manager has a better reputation around the world too. We have the history.

He would. His 'people' aren't the most tight lipped of people. Also, how many players do you see pass a medical but still not sign on the dotted line? He's waiting to see what we do - I think he'll be disappointed though.
Didn't he say he followed us when he was younger? If that's the case then maybe he'd like to get the chance to play for us if he did follow us, especially as Suarez is staying. I dunno, just wishful thinking tbh
Hope that we've moved for him again. I dunno, it's taking a long time for the deal to be done between Wills and Spurs, now that he's passed the medical you'd expect an official announcement that he's signed, it could just be contractual technicalities, but maybe we've turned his head.
Not getting my hopes up mainly because what I hear is that he'd prefer to be playing CL, we can't offer him that so I don't think we're in the running..
