Totally sick of reading who Celtic have been linked to. It's always some **** no-one has heard of or can't get a game for their current team. Who is this guy? Someone who has played 20 good games in half a season and with a decidedly average goal record. Pish.

Yup, totally agree. Just once in a while we should be able to sign someone who is not potentially good or some over the hill member of the so called celtic family who used to be good....just someone who actually is

No-one expects them to go out and spend a fortune on established players but there should be scope to spend money and wages on players who would significantly improve the squad or in situations, such as now, when a player is sorely needed in a certain position. They can shove their "raw potential" and pishy loan signings up their ****box.
Venom , name names you want us to sign??? because you've not heard of them dosn't mean they're not good players. If you read the story Celtic shook hands with Werder Bremen on their striker 3.4 million , the Austrian wasn't interested in coming to Scotland . If an Austrian isn't interested we're in trouble and makes Lawell / Lennon / park job near impossible .Personally I would put in a cheeky wee bid for Rhodes of Blackburn , who have started the season badly and have money troubles .
I'm no interested in stories from the papers, I'm no interested in "linked with", I'm no interested in "allegedly bid for", I'm no interested in your pish about "impossible jobs". What I am interested in is Celtic's manager, scouting team and board locating and signing players of Celtic quality. Bidding for an Austrian guy who turned us down means nothing, it's an aside or even a smokescreen. The club would have known prior to making any bid if the player was interested in a move. The club are taking the pish just now. "We've made a bid", "The player isn't interested", "Working on many targets" Contrite mince fed to simple-minded fools. Get someone signed and get them signed soon. This wait-and-see attitude is a boot in the baws.

I very much tend to agree with this. Too often we have failed to capitalise or build from a position of strength. We have been very much on a minimising expectations trip ever since Seville. There are too many unfathomably missed opportunities - Fletcher and McCarthy spring to mind, there're plenty more - combined with the ameliorating signings to placate the Ratsjuice/ Sellick Famuly mindset that pervades some of our support....I`m getting sick of us just failing when it seems the difference between just failing and just succeeding might be the difference between having 50 million in the bank or having 30 million in the bank
