For someone who likes Italian football it seems like you hate every player that is mentioned from Italy. Makes me wonder what you like about it...

Between Ntep, Vaughan and Scholetto, then my preference would probably be for the young Frenchman. Vaughan is of known mediocre quality at this level. Scholetto seems to be of versatlile yet limited nature. Ntep looks to have the world at his feet if a little discipline can be brought to his game....

.... but then again, the same could have been said about Cameron 18 months ago.

I can't understand people comparing Stewart with this lad. Cameron's head got turned by Leicester and then his injury occured and he obviously wasn't able to handle it.Whose to say this lad is the same?

Only the "type" of player is comparable, and most modern city fans only have Stewart as a reference-point.

The fact Ntep has a 1 in 4 strike ratio and actually contributes assists suggests to me e is worth a punt.

Still, the fact the video that most people have seen spends 5 minutes on trickery before finishing on goals, assists and near-misses leads some to think they know more than Bruce, Stan Ternent, the Auxerre, French U21 coach and performance statistics suggest.

Perhaps he should have had a better profile on Champ or FIFA.

Well as I said earlier, maybe we should get him even if it's for the future. You can't tell what a players like from youtube but if we can get him over on a trial, who knows?

Would you be saying "get him on trial" if he'd been an England U21 at 20 and scored 1 in 4 in the championship whilst adding an assist in 10 to that tally?

That's as good if not better record than Zaha in our second tier at only 1/10th of the price.

Doesn't seem to be a diving **** either.

I'd have him here JB, the trial part was for those who are comparing him with Stewart. Sorry if I never made that clear.

It's the Meelan derby actually, contested between Internazionale and AC. Sorry to be pedantic.

    Look, if BCC says he's ****, he's ****. He's the man who's ITK.

He can even read the papers in their foreign language...

For some of our slightly older fans think a taller David Beresford. He can run all day but that's all he does with it. His delivery is truly woeful, like Beresford he very rarely gets the ball away and just perpetually runs into blind alleys. As soon as new coach Mazzarri came in this summer he immediately ostracised him from the squad and he trained at home with the kids while the first team toured. I suspect as well as being a reflection on his lack of ability this was done to appease the Ultras. It immediately showed Mazzarri knew what he was doing. And he was only signed 6 months earlier in the Jan transfer window... I think he was Strammacioni's last signing actually and will be his legacy. Anyway, I think it's all immaterial as he's meant to be going to Porto in a swap deal for Fernando.

For anyone who has seen it, I alsways thought he looked like the faun from the wonderful Pan's Labyrinth:

So if an Italian said to you that his club were after signing Aaron Wilbraham or Sonko and you said they were both ****ing appalling he could then respond "for someone who likes English football you seem to hate every player"?

I'm glad nobody's made the obvious twee comment that this signing sounds like a bit of a gamble. If you had, I reckon people would say that's Schelotto. <ok>

Perhaps the Norwich preview was correct and we're looking at growing the grass. Didn't we do that for Beresford?

To be brutally honest, Schelletto is probably worse.... He's like if someone put Forrest Gump on a football pitch. I know some people called Ellison Forrest Gump but at least he had a good shot.

Agree about Ellison and we did hear about him after he left us, unlike Beresford. Is he still playing? Haven't heard about him in years.
