Round here, Norwich City AFC are called 'City' by locals, 'Norwich' by the press, 'the Canaries' by everyone.

It ain't really a big deal to be referred to as 'Hull', surely?

According to reports only a small minority of players are against a name change!

It's Hull, Rovers and City round here.

At least it was until a few years ago, when Hull started to known as the nonsensical 'FC', and a few of our younger and unwitting
fans who are not steeped in local supporting history and who take their info from message boards and the internet started to call us 'Hull'.

Why someone would change these usages after almost a century is beyond me.

As is men hugging, men wearing woolly hats indoors, people sitting cross legged on dirty pavements and station concourses etc etc etc

See on the front of the second layer of the stand, behind Guzan (1st half), it says: 'chelseaafc.com'

Just for interest try Portsmouth City FC.

Portsmouth FC changed to PCFC and then back to PFC

Has that changed from when you first posted it?

Initially I got a header showing Norwich City v Hull City Tigers, I've popped back meaning to find out who to notify about the **** up, and the first link's now to Norwich City OWS and the daft header's gone.

Weird, I got a header saying Hull City Tigers v Norwich City, but when I went for "Hull City" I got Hull City AFC and no mention of Tigers. Went back, no mention of the mighty Tigers.

Chrome and google are supposedly smarter now I guess, especially if you log in to a google account. Mine follows me around on my phone, knows what I do, when and where. I should probably be bothered by it but I find it comforting heh.
