Lads and lasses I just got the best news tonight. My 14month old son had a MRI yesterday on his brain as they thought he has a AVM. Turns out all is well. It's a huge weight off mine & the wife's shoulders. My 5 year old daughter had a AVM and she had an embolization in march this year and it was the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life. We were thinking we were going to have to go through it all again but all is good. Tonight I'm one happy dad. Sorry to go on i just had to share my good news. 3 pts on Saturday and this will be a perfect week.
puts your own problems into perspective when you hear something like this. Couldn't imagine if mine was sick. great news. all the best mate.
We all spend enough time talking to each other, and have forged some good friendships and rivalries here - and there are things that transcend football in importance, and this is one. Congrats on the news mate, hearing this has brightened my day up knowing that a fellow fan, and human being, is healthy Never a good thing, especially with kids! They deserve to run around and get scolded for taking an extra sweetie, not spend it in hospital! Great news!
Great news. I have a niece who had a brain tumour 4 years ago and is now doing well. I know how hard it was for her parents. All the best for the future mate.
That's brilliant news marra, absolutely class. Bairns are a constant worry even when things are normal, but this adds extra stress and heartache. I'm ****ing glad I came on here this morning, really pleased for you and your family mate
Cheers to all your kind words and thoughts are very much appreciated. Today I've got an extra spring in my step.
