Chemical weapons used in Syria.

No one can be sure by which side yet. The images are truly harrowing. Hope that justice is dealt to whoever it was that used them.

Posting guitar videos. Which one do you like best, or at all..?

Don Ross playing his own song...

or Andy McKee playing his own arrangement..?

Well seeing as the Syrian government won't let UN investigators inspect the scene I can kinda guess.

Ok the contrary, UN inspectors have been invited into the country by the government, and arrived there yesterday. Today this has happened.

A lot of people are saying it could be a 'false flag' by the rebels to try and incur sanctions from the west. To be honest the whole situation is a complete mess, and I don't know anywhere near enough about it to have a reasonable debate. All I will say is R.I.P to the victims, I hope I never have to see scenes like that on the news again.

How long until the media stop reporting the Syrian death toll and start reporting on how many are actually still alive?

Seriously, there will be no one left to kill soon.

I'm no real fan of the Mirror, but credit where it's due - tomorrow's front page is powerful:

Yes I know that, the UN asked the government if they could check it out. The government said no it is not one of the areas we agreed you can visit.

The number of refugees is pretty scary too, a tent city in Iraq is not going to be anyone's idea of home even if the UN have given your children some blankets. But they won't be going anywhere until the fighting stops, and no one's come up with a solution to that yet.

Disgusting, it needs to be sorted quick. But while Russia and China side with the government nothing will be done.

Reading an excellent book called "What Is The What" at the moment, a memoir about the Sudan genocide/massacre. Some nasty parallels coming through here.
