You read the thread mate? The op says you'll have far too much for us Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the game, my first of hopefully many this season.
Since this regime came in I've probably been a tad optimistic all the time [understandable, you would allow me..?], but over the last few weeks I've gone from mid-table to top 6 and back again. I'm probably somewhere like 8th place, in my head, right now. The important thing is... where does Cortese expect us to be..?
It may be nearing sell-out but I know we've taken a load of tickets back as we're using one of the away end blocks for home supporters.
I forget how many away blocks there are normally but I reckon without one there'll be around 2500 seats for you guys (normal away allocation is 3100 or so I think).
Going to be a good game hopefully their players are still settling in. 2-1 or 3-1 to us but we won't be walking it.
as pochettino says the age of the player isn't relevant, JWP warrants a place in the 18 given his good recent performance but as its a home game and we will be more attacking I don't feel he would be the best option to start especially if clyne starts instead of chambers. Fair enough to express your wish for young and promising players to be given a chance but I would stress that this match is as important as any other league match and that we need to play our best team. It isn't just about the 3 points picking players on their potential over their ability will majorly piss off any professional footballer left out, and I imagine lambert wouldn't much fancy relying on the limited creativity of jwp and isgrove. I said before the season started that I didn't think jwp would improve enough to be better than davis, it looks quite likely that he will surpass him which is promising.
