Actually PTF on reflection we both could be right as it depends on how many postings you have set up per page.......
Oh man I rarely actually start a thread.......When I do though something is bound to be wrong with it....
I don't mind specialist threads breaking away from the main transfer thread...like the Puncheon thread...can be easier to get a conversation going. In the main thread, it can get confusing about which player people are discussing.
Agree with you Fran. Beefy's is worse though, often two or three conversations going on simultaneously, and you have to work out which one a particular post is referring to.
No problem with threads like the Puncheon one, but if we're going to have a new thread every time Shaw is in the papers we won't be able to find anything else.
So...you're saying one off-topic thread isn't enough? Time for a Chilco's Corner! And I'd like a Joe's Corner too.
He's worth at least 30 million. They can **** off. Another joke of a bid after the Baines and Fellaini bids that were also far too low. They are a joke.
I think it's perfectly fine to start with a lowball offer. I doubt they're arrogant enough to expect those bids to be accepted, but they're probably hoping to at least encourage negotiation. Apparently Everton responded rather angrily to their "insulting" offer, so I guess it didn't work out, but it's a pretty common negotiating strategy and they're not the only team who do it.
Ha ha! I think the mods would skin us for suggesting such a thing Joe! Anyway, mine would end up devoted exclusively to political rants and a mixture of 1960's West Coast American and traditional English folk music, so I would be the only one posting eventually.
Thanks Godders, I love Vaughan Williams. One of my favourite pieces of music is "The Lark Ascending", which for me just encapsulates the beauty of the English countryside. Wonderful stuff. P.S. I also loved the Son House video you posted earlier by the way.
I agree too many threads discussing the same thing. Im not that worried tbh as others have said he would be mad to go.
Unlike Oxo, Shaw has never shown any desire to go. He is happy as Larry and knows what is best for his career at the moment.
