English Premier League..

    I really don't see what the big deal is with Swansea and other Welsh clubs playing in the English leagues. When Swansea, Cardiff, Wrexham and Newport were founded there was no Welsh league, and therefore we were invited to be part of the English leagues. We have been part of the English league through history, and I don't see why this should change now. Moreover, let's not forget there are English football clubs in Welsh leagues - most notably TNS who have represented Wales in Europe. I'm sure Papa will disapprove of that as well!

    Anyway, Swansea have a right to be in the PL and instead of just slating the club for being Welsh - why not wait and see what they have to offer. If they become whipping boys ala Derby then maybe you can make your point with a bit more credibility, but if Swansea are refreshing and can compete (which I beleive they will be) then I think that most rational people will not deny Swansea their place in the Barclays Premier League.

    As for Papa's comments of Welsh people hating the English - I for one do not. I always support England when the Welsh are not involved be that Football, Rugby, or any other sport.

    hate to say it papo_shango... i dont think many fans will be bothered... they've been in the english leagues for a very long time so just because they are in the top league doesn't make a difference! I look forard to going to the liberty stadium next season though im afraid the england chants and the 'wales is a ****hole' chants will probably arise but thats all banter :) all the best swansea

    There´s plenty of chants to come back to the anti Welsh ones man! ;)

    Cheers mucker, nice to see some sense

    I personally can't wait to see the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool etc to come to the Liberty... Not so long ago we were playing Hartlepool and the like.

    Great time to be a Swans fan and if there's a derogatory minority we shall just have to bit our lips

    Derogatory minority?? The English fans love it because they can sing a few different songs - and we know they all love chucking inflatable sheep in the air ;)
