http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/3361687 Jesus wept, I despair of our council I really do. At least the Romans did actually do some good. Not content with presiding over a run-down Union Street which is really looking shoddy these days, no freakin by-pass, crap infrastructure with pot-holes all over the place, the shambolic Union Terrace Gardens and the rest of the **** that they haven't done with what is a fair old income, now they are concerned about balloon litter. Get tae ****. We're the ****s that have to foot the bill for the pikeys who are now trashing the Queens links. And to add insult to injury they now occupy the most beautiful and second biggest granite building in Europe. Forget about schools getting shut down left, right and centre, forget about the scandalous decision to do away with The Bon Accord Baths (a listed building which is still lying unoccupied 3 years down the line). But no, no, let's concentrate on balloon litter. It's a long time since I have had a rant but this makes my blood boil. I vote us as having the ****tiest Council in Britain. Can anyone beat us? I doubt it.
That would be a very good idea. I'm all for that here in Aberdeen as well instead of all the ****in heavy traffic coming up Holburn Street, down Union Street and then along King Street. The buses can **** off too, especially those ****in enormous bendy ones!!
****in hell I don't think I will ever go to Perthshire again. I thought it was such a nice place as well.
