They looked a bit embarrassed on the pitch for the photo's. Great signings though, still can't believe we signed the pair. As Curtis Davies would tweet - Huddlestone #baller.
It does my head in and prevents many from opening the site while at work if they have a no video streaming rule.
Brucey just revealed on 'umbersard that Huddlestone is a record signing. Wouldn't say exactly how much though
Livermore looking forward to his season as a Tiger.... Jake Livermore says the opportunity to play a full part in the Tigers’ new Barclays Premier League adventure was too good to turn down. The 23-year-old midfielder has been signed on a season-long loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur and he is keen to help the Tigers progress and play regular first team football. “As soon as the possibility of coming here came up, I spoke to Steve Bruce and after listening to him, it was clear to me that coming here was going to be beneficial. “He told me about how he wants the team to get the ball down and play. As a player, you do your homework on teams and I know the team played some great football last season. “I want to be a part of that this season now and to play regularly. With Tom (Huddlestone) coming here as well, it just felt like the right move. “It’s great to be involved with a club like Tottenham with European football etc, but the main thing for a young player has to be playing every week. You want to be pulling a shirt on when it comes to a Saturday afternoon and with this move, that is something I intend to do.” Livermore has revealed that he hasn’t had any thoughts about what might happen beyond the 2013/14 season and that all of his focus is on Hull City. “What might happen is always at the back of your mind, but the main thing for me is that for the next season I’m going to be a Hull City player,” added Livermore. “I’m going to give my all for the club and I’m looking forward to the season kicking off on Sunday. Games like that (at Chelsea) are what football is all about. “I trained with the rest of the lads this morning and there is a great buzz about the place.”
They shouldn't be allowed to do that. You should be able to control what videos you download and view. If it's playing automatically when you load the page you're paying for that in internet usage. I know most people have plenty to spare but videos take a fair amount and it can cause problems for people on very cheap packages.
The great thing about the Livermore deal is that if he has a sensational season for us, he is still unlikely to get a recall to Tottenham in January. But as for that sly Di Canio bastard, he would pull Danny Graham back just to stop him scoring for us.
Apparently we have an option to buy him for £3.5m at the end of season. If we stay up, we'll sign him - if true. Not sure if it's true though.
Yes Even since writing that I've gone on the HDM website and been forced to download some crap against my will. It's ridiculous.
... look on the bright side ... having completed the download you are now one step closer to the possibility of a Russian girlfriend ...
Seems there is a buy clause with Livermore. Brill. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-19667768-detail/story.html?#axzz2Yd4tWOPC
Could very well happen John. This makes very interesting reading and Tom is not bothered about sticking the boot in towards Spurs either. A parting shot or what ? Could be an interesting game down @ White Hart Lane at the end of October. www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/tottenham-tom-huddlestones-parting-shot-2172411 Could Michael Dawson and Defoe(now linked with stoke atm) be the next 2 brits to leave Spurs within the year ? twt.
Thudd already came out and said that his words were twisted. Most of the Spurs fans know that. He'll be welcomed back to WHL with open arms, as will Livermore. We should make a cheeky bid for Daws... Defoe on a loan?
Maybe next summer for Dawson when we are PL again. We need to upgrade both Faye and Bruce jnr next summer.
