If Ross signs up to his new contract and we get one or two more wide players I will be happy that gfh have shown enough intent given what went before.
Building a back four to be the bedrock for years to come? Bryan, Lee's, Wooton, er...Warnock? Better approach than we've seen in years maybe?
we've actually looked reasonably solid at the back so far this season, I feel it's just a case of we're missing a little something. A third centre back to share the load could be it. Gives us the opportunity to play Byram and White/Warnock as wing backs should we need to as well. I'm sure McDermott would make a better go of that than Warnock ever did.
Me neither este... but my gut feeling tells me he HAS to fit in somewhere or 3 managers wouldn't have rated him so highly...
Perhaps the case that no-one wants him, & managers can't sign anyone else? When does his contract end?
I think he said that when we were after Greer, once he realised Brighton weren't gonna sell probably changed his target to Wootton.
Did he not sign a new one last season? If so, we could be stuck with him for a while. I think we should have grabbed the 250k supposedly offered for him but maybe mcd thinks he's worth 250k to have in squad. Personally I believe he's as good as he's ever likely to be

He's only 21 but he was a lot better player at 17. At this rate by the time he's 25 he will be really **** lol
I dont think hes as quick as we think. Last year he was running side by side with a burnley centre mid and he got dicked lol
