I see on Newsnow that they recon United are about to bid for Shaw after losing out on Baines...anyone else heard any similar rumours about this ..........or am I late again about this.....
To be fair, everyone's for sale, even when they're not. If Rooney, who also isn't for sale, does get sold then Man Utd will have plenty of cash to splash around. But Cortese will make them suffer for even thinking about Luke Shaw.

It was also in the Times this mornign who aren't exactly known for jumping on the gossip bandwagon. I suggest there is genuine interest there but if they think he's going to be a cheaper option than Baines then they're barking up the wrong tree
Imagine it now Manu faced with bankruptcy after they failed to spot the addional clause in shaw contract to Manu for £100k a min playing premiership and European matches. Nicola hands them the bill for 400million lol
There is no doubt that there would be a genuine interest in Shaw as I would think any of the Premier League clubs would take him. It does however seem that Shaw is firmly strapped in for the exciting ride ahead with us at this moment in time. The incredible thing is that he is ONLY 18 and if he sees out his 5 year contract he would still only be 23 with a massive part of his career remaining. I still can't get my head around the fact we have such an awesome level headed player who is so good at such a young age. COYS! Oh and United can bugger off and go and 'express' an interest/make another derisory offer to another club!
Just weeks into a 5 year contract, among the first names on the team sheet, first game of the season puts in a MOTM performance and earns the penalty that wins us the game. Alternatively, warming the bench alongside some illustrious names. I know which one I'd choose if I was 18 again!

Fair enough....... but I did look at the rumour thread.....I started at the top of page 14 and read down......... no mention. I have to say I'm not prepared to spend half the morning going back over page after page just in case someone else has posted. A couple of pages is about my limit.....especially when so many different threads are involved almost discussing the same thing.....
When you started this thread the latest page was page 20, which was mostly about Shaw, so I'm not sure why you started at page 14, but in future maybe try the latest page first
Sounds to me Beddy as if there are a lot of people on here trying to teach their Granny to suck eggs.
I don't know what your on PTF.......The rumour thread MK 5 has not even reached page 20.........and at 09.06 when I posted this thread it was only up to page 14 as previously stated!!!!
