This is like going to an auction and being told that you'll accept the first bid of 70% of the value of the item. How can ever hope to realise the value of what you are selling if you do this? It is extraordinary. Wouldn't it make more sense to let the auction run its natural course and hey, who knows, maybe it might be possible to get 100%+? Particularly if the item is sort after.
04 Jun 2011 21:30:59 Danny Graham not keen on switch to Swansea. Have been told he's hoping WBA match the offer as that's his preferred choice of the main 3 clubs after him. ( QPR other one ). Usually a good source on all things Watford. 307217824 04 Jun 2011 21:03:44 Will Buckley is definitely going to Brighton from Watford. Not yet reported but know 100% that a fee of 1 Mil is about to be agreed and he's already been offered a contract which more than doubles his wages. This will all become apparent within the next week. Shame as he's only just won Hornets' young player of the year too and had loads more to offer there. 307209726 04 Jun 2011 19:48:46 Millwall and Watford are interesting in signing Tom Craddock from Oxford, as a replacement for Steve Morison and Danny Graham respectively. A Reported fee of £200,000 and £250,000 should be sufficient to secure the former Luton players services.
any more intell on the other player the seagulls want! 1m for bucko , still a bit low , so we do seem to be selling off people cheaply!
Hate to burst the bubble about WB, we are not going to get an exorbitant price for him. He has not been around long enough or done enough to encourage that sort of money!
Fed up with deal too - £3.5m is too cheap for a player who achieved what he did. I don't blame him preferring WBA or QPR as both of those have a real chance of staying up - Swansea and Norwich will both probably come straight back down
I hate to say it but Swansea is the back of beyond too - fine for retirement but for an active young man ????
