    It's been reported in The Sun this morning that Harry Redknapp is interested in recruiting the services of the 31 year old Newcastle striker.

    Oh dear!

    Yet another one looking for one last pay day - Harry is filling us up with players that are mostly past their best and can't secure a premier league move. If and when we get promoted, what will happen with these old 'uns as he will then state that they are not quick enough for the top flight. We'll go back to recruiting a team of new players who then need time to "gell"

    Not a good move IMO

    Truth is, I know little of him and at 31 years of age, if I haven't heard of him yet, that can't be a good sign.

    Ameobi's stated ambition is to play in the WC with Nigeria so perhaps a season loan would be a possibility.

    Mind well and truly blown. No make that head blown straight off! **** NO!




    This one though would suit me perfect. I rate him highly, think he and Le Fondre are the best strikers in this division (yes better than Rhodes).
